Legal
Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: October 19, 2026
1. Scope
This policy applies to everything you build, run or publish with Afren AI, including Hosted Apps and Published Sites. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Breaking it can lead to removal of the content, suspension of the app or account, and reporting to the authorities where the law requires it.
2. You must not use Afren to
- Collect passwords, payment details or other sensitive data under false pretences (phishing), or impersonate Afren or any other person or organisation.
- Distribute malware, ransomware, spyware or any code designed to damage or gain unauthorised access.
- Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages. Outbound mail ports are closed on hosting infrastructure; send email only through a reputable email service under its own terms.
- Mine cryptocurrency, or run workloads unrelated to the app you built on the Platform.
- Attack, scan or overload any system, including denial-of-service, port scanning and credential stuffing, or run open proxies, VPN endpoints or anonymising relays.
- Try to break out of your app’s isolation, reach other customers’ apps or data, or reach Afren’s own infrastructure.
- Host or link to child sexual abuse material, content that promotes terrorism or violence, or content that is unlawful where you or your users are.
- Infringe intellectual-property rights (see our Copyright Policy) or publish others’ personal data without a lawful basis.
- Get around plan limits, billing or spending caps, or resell or sublicense hosting without our written agreement.
3. Reporting abuse
Email business@afren.ai with “Abuse” in the subject and the address involved. We review reports promptly and act on clear abuse at once.
4. What we do
We may remove content, pause or stop an app, suspend an account, preserve evidence, and cooperate with law enforcement. Where it is safe and lawful, we tell you what happened and how to fix it.
